The Great Baby Beats Clothes Swap
Time & Location
About the Event
Need to make some room in your child's wardrobe? Have some lovely children's clothes that you don't want to just give away?
We are combining 2 things that Baby Beats loves at our next event - MUSIC and RECYCLING!!! We are teaming up with Plastic Free Nantwich and some other lovely businesses big on recycling to bring you a fun-filled event to keep your little ones entertained, to save you money and to help you de-clutter.
Our Baby Beats clothes swap will take place on Thursday 30th May (during half term) at our lovely Wychwood class venue. On arrival you can hand in your unwanted clothes. While we put out the clothes there will be stalls and craft activities to entertain you and your children. We will accept and swap items up to 8 years of age based on the estimated age range of children of our customers.
For every item you swap in you can exchange it for another item that's new-to-you, up to 10 items each (so if you bring a bag of 30 items you can only swap for 10, just so there is enough choice for everyone, I'll discuss leftovers at the end).
While you are shwapping (swap shopping!) Baby Beats will provide musical entertainment for your children, a very special class with an environmental and recycling theme! We encourage you to bring a picnic too as this event will take place around lunch time, this will help us to keep waste to a minimum by not providing refreshments. However, hot drinks for parents will be availble, included in your ticket price.
At the end if there are items left that you would like they will be available for donations to Plastic Free Nantwich and anything left will be donated to a children's charity shop. If you would like to bring your unwanted clothes along to a Baby Beats class ahead of the event this would be really appreciated so we know how many items we will be dealing with - we will give you tickets so you know how many swaps you have on the day. Bring unwanted supermarket hangers too for display purposes.
If there are any items you can't part with we will have some information on how to make them into keepsake items and loads of help on how you and your children can get recycling too.
Tickets will cost £6 per parent and child, additional siblings under 1 are free, siblings over 1 are £2.50. Additional adults (expectant mothers welcome!) 50p.
